This website is dedicated to the Visual Media Movement of The Faydah, (The Spiritual Flood), by way of Shaykh Hassan ibn Aliou Cisse (ra).

The beloved Shaykh Hassan Cisse is the spiritual successor to, Shaykh Aliou Cisse (R.A) and the world renowned Senegalese Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse (R.A.), both renowned scholars and luminaries of the Tijaniyya, a traditional, orthodox path of Islamic spiritual cultivation. As leader of the community of the Faydah, the beloved Shaykh Hassan Cisse is known throughout the world for his scholarship, an abundance of humanitarian efforts, and his advocacy on behalf of women, children, the poverty stricken, and people of African descent. As chairman of the African American Islamic Institute (AAII), a non-governmental organization dedicated to various global humanitarian projects, the beloved Shaykh has received a great deal of recognition for work to improve the quality of life for disenfranchised people around the globe.

In addition to the beloved Shaykh Hassan Cisse's tireless efforts to serve the Creator by serving His creation and helping his fellow man, the beloved Shaykh also serves as spiritual guide and leader for a global community of millions of Muslims. The beloved Shaykh Hassan Cisse stands as one of today's greatest lights representing Islam in Africa and traditional Islam in the world as a defender of traditional Islamic spirituality (Sufism), strict adherence to the foundational sources of the Muslim way of life (the Qur'an and the Sunnah or example of the Prophet Muhammad [S.A.W.]), and the application of the fundamental Islamic principles of unity and service. The beloved Shaykh Hassan has worked to spread Islamic knowledge and encourage Islamic learning, opening Qur'an schools in various countries and lecturing around the world.

With the help of Allah, this site will provide information about the activities of the beloved Shaykh Hassan Cisse and the community of the Faydah and allow visitors to access some of the beloved Shayk's lectures as well as other content to give the viewer an opportunity to learn more about the beloved Shaykh, the Faydah, and their work.
